# Installation Instructions

##  Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.50 Service Pack 2 Full 
* The actual full install of IE is a multi-part action.
* Since IE 4.01, most of the components were unbundled for the pack.
* Run ```IE55\IE5WZD.EXE``` to install IE 5.50 by stare.pro
* This is the fullest found version of IE 5.50 SP2
* It contains some gems like:
 * Personal Web Server (first version)
 * FrontPage Express
 * Comic Chat
 * GS Wavesynth
 * RealPlayer Codecs
 * Windows Desktop Update
* Run ```MDAC\MDAC25R3.EXE``` to extend the IE 5.5 MDAC
* If you installed Personal Web Server via the IE setup, update it.
* Run ```PWS\SETUP.EXE``` in order to do so. It installs PWS 4.0 (last one)
* Run ```WMP71\SETUP_WM.EXE``` to update to Windows Media Player 7.10
* WMP7 warns, 7.1 refuses to install, but they're otherwise compatible
* The installation source is patched with all the released updates.
